I often ask “what are some of the preachers, teachers and some church goers not getting?” We need to bring back the respect that Christianity rightful deserve. If we are not careful Christianity will be one of the most disrespected religion of today.
As I review my years as a political consultant, our strategist team always had to meet with pastors in order to help create a platform for the candidates. Whenever a pastor would ring the bell the quote would be “There goes another f…ing lying pastor.” The whole room would laugh in disgust. This attitude is not decreasing, it is growing. As soldiers of the cross we need to wake up. I was not in ministry at the time, but I still felt humiliated because I knew I wanted to be a preacher, but not to be described in that manner. As believers in Christ, let us all join together to bring back that respect for Christianity. We are now beyond a few bad apples. Who is willing to join this campaign and carry the Lord’s banner? Who is willing to truly stand up for God? If you are reading or listening to this sermon please make a difference now!
What does unclean living have to do with Christianity, Christ teaching was pure and wise. He taught with love. Why the double lives in Christianity? Why the fornication? Why are the most horrible behaviors in the church? Why are the young people not encouraged to go to church? Why some pastors cannot stand as role models for children with no father or mother in the home? True Christianity has nothing to do with child molesters, adulators, fornicators and other dishonest attributes. What is really going on? Some people like to use the devil as a scapegoat, the molest children, the get women pregnant in the church, they beat their wives, the neglect their children, and they blame it on the devil. Everything is “It’s the devil.” This phase has been so over worked. In reality what is truly happening is that these hypocrites that come in the name of Christianity truly are enjoying their sinful life. The devil comes to tempt you with what you have inside. For those of you, who are listening to me, who are reading this sermon, come to a decision to give up your sinful ways now. When you do this the Holy Spirit will come in and give you a washing. God created us with the right to choose, the choice is yours.
For those spiritual people, that are doing more than what the worldly people are doing I just want to make it clear to the world that they do not represent Christianity. Christianity represents the teachings of Christ. Again, who is willing to stand up in body, mind and spirit and defend true Christianity, the true teachings of Jesus Christ?
There are many parents across the world who voice their concerns about their children entering the church because they’re afraid of what their children might encounter. Why is this so? What does Christ have to do with this? It is time that true believers in Christ begin to defend Christ teachings. If you see something say something? I once tried to speak to someone to bring them to the Lord. This was there answer, “People especially in Christianity are worst that the people who never set foot in a church,” and they just walked away. At other times, they would share some gruesome details about their experience with “Christians.” I use to find myself explaining and explaining. But now when I am confronted with negative comments about Christianity or if negative comments are thrown around within the atmosphere, I remain absolutely quiet because there is really nothing to say.
I often wonder where is the power in the church? Where are the deliverances? Where are the healings? Where are the miracles? When you look around you see everything except miracles. And if there are miracles happening, the percentage is so small to those who are in need of healing and deliverance. If Jesus Christ is the head of the church, if the Holy Spirit executes power in a church, then what Jesus did should be happening in your midst. Deliverances should be happening in your midst. People lives should be transformed right before your eyes. Where are all God’s generals? Where is the Elisha of today? Why are so many Christians dying of sickness and disease all over the world and we are not seeing divine healing, when Jesus said greater thing will we do? Many people have stated that many people go to church not to be healed, not to experience miracles but to enjoy a social way of life. One lady came to me for counseling, she said her mother was a deacon in the church and almost every Sunday morning her mother reminded her that she wore last Sunday, she cannot wear it this Sunday or else she cannot go to church because this would embarrass her. My question to her was “What does Christ teachings have to do with that?”
Food for thought: For deliverances, healing of sickness and disease, deliverances from demons or earth bound spirits to take place there must be a high standard of morality in the church based on the teachings of Christ. The Holy Spirit cannot move freely and happily in a place where there is unclean leadership. Think of it this way, can you move freely in a smoky room? Would you not choke? For this reason the Bible states “the prayer of the saints availeth much.”
Come aboard, your Father is waiting. Hold on to your banner of love and integrity. The true teachings of Christ will change your life. Be peaceful now!
